I have just received confirmation from France that a supply of Soie Surfine #2523 on 100m spools is shipping to me this week.

This is particularly good news for those taking part in the 56-week BAP Challenge who are planning to stitch their sampler on 56-count linen.

For 56-count linen, you will need six 300-metre spools of Soie Surfine #2523, using one strand of silk.

The price will be £4 per spool, or £24 for the two spools required.

Soie Surfine #2523 is now available to pre-order on the Hands Across the Sea Samplers website.

I do not normally list silks for sale until they are physically in my possession, but given the considerable interest in silk for the BAP Challenge, I am making an exception.

All pre-orders will be dispatched as soon as the silk has arrived and I have returned from Williamsburg.
