Bonjour mes amis
On February 20th, I celebrate my 60th birthday. Pre-Covid, my husband and I would have celebrated with a holiday, but alas we have still not got back into travel mode. However, I thought that I could still enjoy a celebratory holiday in 2023 with a tour around Europe in the company of my needlework friends and samplers.
The theme for Letters from Europe came from my belief that needlework takes us on a journey, one of discovery and personal growth.
Letters from Europe is a special project for Hands Across the Sea Samplers that is very, very limited. Only ten boxes for each year of my life have been produced.
Within the specially commissioned red box, you will find booklets for eight samplers and seven additional items that will take us on a journey around Europe this summer.
The project box will arrive packed in a brown postal box. When you lift the lid of the project box, you will find that each item within has been individually wrapped, so that you can experience the thrill of opening the fifteen items. Will you open them all at once or savour the experience over a number of days?
The sixteenth item is an envelope labelled “Please Open Last”. It contains a letter from me explaining the journey around Europe that we will be taking.
Seven of the samplers are limited editions which have been carefully curated to form a themed sampler wall when stitched.
The eighth sampler is a gift from me to remind us all that no matter how much fun it is to travel, there is no place like home.
All the samplers are suitable for stitching on Aida and linen and are worked in cross stitch over 2 threads. They vary in size from a stitch count of 131(w) x 115(h) to 293(w) x 163(h) stitches.
Included within the project box for Letters from Europe are seven additional items; six of which are limited edition items that are exclusive to Letters from Europe.
There are two discount vouchers from stores that I love to shop in for you to enjoy.
Ten random boxes contain some lucky charms. If you find within your box a zipper pull for a project bag featuring a red daisy, you will be able to claim a £60 voucher from Hands Across the Sea Samplers.
It has been such fun compiling this special offering. We hope that you will experience countless hours of joy stitching the samplers and using the additional items within.
Bon voyage and safe travels!
